This vanishing cemetery rests on private land approximately 3 miles southeast of Saffell, Arkansas on the south side of Lawrence 358, which divides Lawrence and Independence Counties. The cemetery lies on land previously held by the Allison Dawson, Lance, Polston and McNutt families. A substantial portion of the cemetery eroded during a major flood in the 1930s, when nearby Curia Creek flooded, taking with her the coffins and remains of countless buried here.
