Location: Two miles southwest of Smithville, Lawrence, Arkansas. This plot in now in a bean field. It is near the location for the old "Squint Eye" School Building. Even though the school building is no longer there, it is well remembered in the community. There are several unmarked graves. This cemetery was first used by Herman and Mae Fortenberry Kaiser when their daughter died.

I am pleased to add this piece of news passed on by Regina Creekmore Weaver. This cemetery has been reopened. It has been cleaned up and surrounded by a fence. There is now a road leading up to the cemetery.

I have been including deaths listed in the Times Dispatch Newspaper from Walnut Ridge. In some cases the birth date was not given. In those cases I listed "no date" as a birth date. This does not mean that a birth is not included on their monument.
