Thank you to James Whitlow for the information on this cemetery. I did not know of its existance.

Miller was a Black (African-American) community about one and one-half (1 1/2) miles north of Minturn on Village Creek. They had their own school and church and that last Black Family moved out in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The land on which the cemetery is locate is owned by Larry Jones. It covers about one acre and is covered with brush and hard to get though. I found three headstones but I sure there are many graves without stones. The stones I found are these:

Louis Beard -- Tuckerman Circle No. 99 -- Died Jan. 29, 1924

Calvin Beard -- Born Aug. 15, 1880; Died July 22, 190?
